College: University of Idaho, 1987 degree in communications-journalism.

She is married to Todd Palin. Mr. Palin in a four-time champion of the Iron Dog, the world’s longest snowmachine race. He works as a production operator on the Alaskan North Slope.

Sarah and Todd have five children: Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig.

Political Resume

1992 – 1996 – Two terms on the Wasilla, Alaska city council.

1996 – 2002 – Two terms as mayor of Wasilla.

February 19, 2003 – January 23, 2004 – Chairwoman and Ethics Supervisor of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

2006 – present – Governor of Alaska.
